Day 24: The Hand

The sheer power of this photograph overwhelms every argument against the humanity of the unborn. The back story is as heart-warming as its aftermath was controversial. In the end, the most important part of the story is that Samuel Armus was born healthy after having surgery for spina bifida at the age of 21 weeks gestation.
