Each and every one of us starts out wrong.
Only when the Lord takes and blesses us
are we changed from despisers into lovers of Life.
Those not yet blessed with this repentance are not enemies.
They are fellow sinners for whom Christ died
and for whom you are invited to pray.
This week, we rejoice with the Father at the glorious conversions He has worked in former giants of the abortion movement. And we pray that, seeing the greatness of our own sins, we would love Life with equal passion as they.
Grant, we beseech Thee, Almighty God: that we, who for our evil deeds do worthily deserve to be punished; by the comfort of Thy grace may mercifully be relieved, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. (Laetare)
